PERCH DISSECTION CLASSES:
This intermediate class investigates the bony fish. We will introduce students to the concepts of taking data, determining fish gender and how the gills work. The internal dissection looks at more complex systems than the previous lab. Each student will learn how a fish swims, controls buoyancy and food digestion.

*These laboratories are designed to be supplemental to homeschool classes and are taught from the aspect that animals are a wonderful creation by God. A short lecture and student interactive discussion will be included. Parent involvement is encouraged, however not required. Each student will be provided with a laboratory handout and the organism to dissect. We emphasize that the student gains a quality learning experience in a fun, non-stressful environment*
